In order to deal with the drought in Catalonia, the possibility of using desalination plants for seawater and brackish water is emerging. This, together with regulations that are in the process of change, could be a long-term solution.
In recent months there has been an increase in requests for information from city councils, hotel chains and communities of residents in coastal towns.
Dessal has been in the sector for over 20 years. We develop projects that adapt to the needs of our clients. We have carried out installations of different capacities on the peninsula and the Balearic Islands. And, for some time now, we have also been manufacturers of DessaLine seawater treatment plants, which produce between 900 and 8,000 litres of fresh water per day.
TVE1 recently visited our facilities, interviewed our manager and broadcast the news on the regional news programmes on Sunday 24 March 2024.
