The Cannes Yachting Festival 2025

Dessal visited the Cannes Yachting Festival 2025 yesterday, the opening day of the festival, which transforms the city into Europe's premier nautical showcase. Annual attendance is estimated at between 50,000 and 55,000 visitors.

The festival was born in 1977 and has established itself as a launching platform for shipyards and designers.

It is a large space divided into two clearly differentiated zones:

• Vieux Port : primarily geared towards motorboats and superyachts . Equipment manufacturers and service companies showcase their latest innovations here.
• Port Canto : is the setting for the navigation area for yachts and smaller sailing vessels (8 to 12 m).

Overall, this festival brings together almost 700 boats on water and land, with numerous premieres and debuts that mark the season.
