Dessal participated as an exhibitor at the Barcelona International Boat Show 2025 , a key event for professionals and enthusiasts in the European nautical sector. During the show, the company showcased its innovative DessaLine Maxi marine desalination system, a high-performance, semi-automatic model designed to provide potable water on board with a special emphasis on efficiency, reliability, and ease of use. Like the modular DessaLine models, this compact desalination system produces between 40 and 360 liters per hour.
The DessaLine Maxi was developed specifically to provide remote technical support to charter companies . The SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system integrated into the DessaLine Maxi enables intelligent, real-time monitoring of the reverse osmosis desalination process. Thanks to this technology, users can view and control all operating parameters (pressure, flow rate, filter and pump status, alarms, etc.) directly from a mobile device or a computer connected via Wi-Fi. This system facilitates remote operation of the desalination plant and immediate diagnosis of any issues.
Overall, Dessal Marine Tech's SCADA system offers an unprecedented level of automation, safety, and connectivity in the marine desalination sector for professional and recreational vessels.
With this launch, Dessal Marine Tech reaffirms its commitment to innovation in reverse osmosis systems for ships, yachts and professional vessels, offering technologically advanced solutions for onboard freshwater production.
